Over 2 billion people still lack access to clean drinking water.
More than two billion people continue to live without access to safe, drinkable water- a shocking reality that persists every single day.
Wells are no longer enough – in places where groundwater has dried up, new solutions are urgently needed.
In many regions, wells are no longer viable option because the groundwater has vanished. Where there is no water left underground, traditional methods no longer help- what´s needed are entirely new approaches.
Our answer: A technology that extracts water from the air.
Our solution is innovative: a technology capable of extracting moisture directly from the air and turning it into clean drinking water-completly independent of ground resources.
Developed by Miragua, implemented by Darya – for people in regions that have long been forgotten.

In rural regions of Malawi, access to safe drinking water is often lacking. Every day, women and children in particular have to walk for kilometers to fetch water from unsafe sources. This is exactly where our project comes in: With innovative air-to-water technology, we provide access to clean drinking water – independent of groundwater. What we do in practice: We install decentralized water generation units that convert humidity from the air into drinkable water. Together with local partners, we train communities in operation and maintenance – creating long-term independence. Impact: Through your support and donations, we’re able to provide communities with the minimum daily amount of fresh drinking water they need to survive. This leads to fewer illnesses, more children attending school, and greater dignity and self-determination for people on the ground. Help us change Malawi – drop by drop.
